Hi, I’m Tyler, a User Experience Designer born and raised in New Jersey.
I’m currently studying in Human-Centered Design and Development at Penn State. During my time at Penn State, I’ve gained experience collaborating in groups to design digital products from scratch. My journey into UX design began after I took my first class in UX. I realized that I wanted to create intuitive and meaningful products that would help people in their daily lives.
In addition to the UX classes I’ve taken, my major incorporates coding classes as well. Because of this, not only am I able to communicate with people involved in design, but also with developers.
My design philosophy is centered around understanding and empathizing with people. I believe that learning about and understanding users is essential to design effective solutions.
